Hey there,
My name is Nadia Lamaani and I am a painter and photographer
After a traumatic event of temporarily losing my eyesight from a pain relief injection during a volunteering trip to Ghana in 2015, I was struck with the devastating reality that I'd be permanently blind and incapable of drawing or painting ever again. At the time, I wasn't actively utilising my talent and felt an undeniable sense of disappointment within myself.
The sudden reality felt very concrete and I couldn't shake off the knowing, that I had neglected a gift that God had granted me with. Thankfully and with great relief, my eyesight came back after 4 hours of constant panic and anxiety. I've never felt so thankful!
This moment of revelation became very symbolic to my artistic journey and shone a deeper sense of awareness on the things that matter to me most.
Since then I have participated in many collaborative projects, exhibited my masterpieces, opened a paint and sip company and found a new creative venture in mixing my art with film, photography and body art. My art work has unconsciously taken the pathway into illustrating the meaningful connection between self and people in relationships. My style is heavily built with acrylic on canvas and tends to steer towards a monochromatic fashion.

Thats a little about me! If you're interested in collaborating on a project,
feel free to contact me! :)

What clients have to say
Professional Actor/Author/Writer
Nadia Lamaani is a portrait painter with an exceptional talent. I commissioned her to paint portraits of my late parents. I cannot even begin to describe this exquisite creation clearly executed with absolute care, love and commitment. Discussing what I was hoping for when Nadia took on the project was just as pleasing and joyful. I had complete confidence that the end result would be something my family and I would treasure for generations to come and indeed it is. One of the finest talents of the 21st century, in my opinion.

It was an honour to work with Nadia as she supported me on bringing an idea to life: Nadia created a wonderful bespoke event for our students across KS3-KS5 to acknowledge all their hard work as student leaders. Nadia demonstrated a natural ability to capture the attention of over 80 students in a room as she guided, motivated and inspired them all across a 3 hour paint party event. Nadia's work is outstanding and we could not thank her enough for her high levels of professionalism throughout. Both staff and students provided positive feedback during and after the event; in summary many commented on feeling empowered, listened to, motivated, as well as grateful for how her clear Nadia's direct instructions were that allowed them to replicate her painting. Thank you again Nadia, for such a memorable event. I would highly recommend your services, you were such a great person to work with
